Category : Food, Health
When a family is happy for the newborn, there is a very real problem in front of them: How to feed a child. Except for natural feeding method, using a feeding bottle is also a choice.
At this time, parents will be tangled in the choice of glass or plastic. Whether it is practical or economical, plastic material will be better.
Now many brands will choose such plastic extruder to produce corresponding products for them.
Many parents are afraid that plastic bottle will be harmful to their children, but if used properly, it will bring a lot of convenience to the entire parenting stage.
So what kind of bottle should be used for newborns? What kind of plastic material is suitable?
Plastic baby bottles are just a general term, and there are also a variety of blow mold type like PC, PP, PES and PPSU.
PC was a material that was used in large quantities, especially for the production of baby bottles, space cups etc, but not anymore, because it is controversial for containing bisphenol A.
The higher the temperature of bisphenol A remaining in PC, the more release and the faster the speed, which has an impact on infant development, immunity and even cancer.
So now every country has ordered the production of this material to be banned.
PP Material: PP bottles are favored by parents because of high chemical stability, not easy to break, good hygienic performance and high heat resistance. Microwave tableware is generally a plastic PP product. Poor hardness, non wear resistance is its shortcoming.
PES Material: PES has excellent heat and chemical resistance, dimensional stability. It can resist heat at 180°C and doesn’t produce bisphenol A when heated, and the bottle body is light. The residual milk in the bottle is not easy to clean and is replaced once every six to eight months.
PPSU Material: PPSU is an amorphous thermoplastic with high transparency and hydrolytic stability. The product can be subjected to repeated steam sterilization.
Further than that the bottle is light, resistant to falling, not easy to break, brewing or steam sterilization is not easy to produce chemical toxins, doesn’t contain endocrine-causing carcinogenic chemicals (environmental hormone bisphenol A), heat resistance 180 °C, microwave heating. Easy to scratch is its biggest drawback…
